Work experience modules
This section in the Learner’s Guide focuses on the work experience component of the qualification and includes all four modules. The work experience component focuses on experiencing a variety of situations in the workplace so that you can hone your skills and become efficient in the optimum operation of the machine.
Work experience refers to the ongoing experience you will have, and the focus is on experiencing a variety of work specifications in which you can hone/polish your skills. You will work in a team, report to the supervisor, receive production targets to achieve and gather workplace evidence. You will come across workplace information such as targets, SOPs, safety procedures and optimum machine efficiencies. This is included in the workbook under the sections: “Supporting evidence” and “Contextualised Workplace Knowledge”.
